FALL HARVEST
Weekend
Our annual pumpkin harvest season at Milky Way Farm runs Sept 24-Oct 30, 2022. For Saturdays and Sundays, individual tickets must be purchased in advance to allow for optimal experience on the farm. Stroll to the pumpkin patch, wander through the corn maze, take family photos, and visit the farm animals as part of your 2-hour $5 admission ticket. Bring your own wagon to carry pumpkins, fall harvest items, vegetables, and honey products which may be purchased during your visit. There will not be free hayrides however we are offering private hayride wagon trips to the patch for $75 (wagon can fit 20 family and friends ) using other event link. Tip: Purchase private hayride for family or group prior to farm admission tickets as you must arrive at the farm at least 30 minutes before your confirmed private hayride time. Visitors are asked to be mindful of social distancing. Chester Springs Creamery will be open for ice cream from 10:30 am-8 pm on these days. We are open rain or shine.
Weekday
During pumpkin harvest season, visitors may come weekdays from 3-5pm to purchase pumpkins, walk to the patch and visit farm animals. Tickets to our family-friendly corn maze are available for $3.00/ticket. Private hayrides for $75 can also be pre-arranged on weekdays with a few days advance notice.
We grow 7 to 8 acres of pumpkins, which yield approximately 25,000 pumpkins in a favorable weather year. Visitors to the farm can purchase pumpkins from the pumpkin patch often right off the vine, precut in the field, or selected in the sales area. We also grow and sell other fall harvest products, such as gourds, Indian corn, crookneck pumpkins, squash, cornstalk bundles, miniature pumpkins, and many fall decorative items.
We are no longer offering free hayrides due to new regulations and increasing fuel prices.
